There are times in your life when you just stop to ask yourself “What exactly am I even doing ?”, “Am I okay?”

Moments when you question yourself and the God that you worship especially when your prayers seems to be bouncing  right back at you instead of going up and bringing forth result. Times when you suddenly can’t hear him speak and you’re wondering what you did. It Is exasperating and tiring. I felt this way very recently and I cried out in frustration eventually “God I absolutely can’t see what’s in front of me but I am going to trust you”…Then I stumbled on this song by Steffany Gretzinger  feat Amanda Cook titled Steady Heart .

Oh gosh! Was I comforted? Yes, I was comforted in my spirit and I felt normal again..Steffany literally took the words out of my Spirit when she said “I can’t see what’s in front of me but I will trust you lord”(reality) and then in the song, I am  reminded of his faithfulness which had conveniently escaped my mind in my moment of distress.

Now I sing: “Steady heart that keeps on going, Steady love that keeps on holding,  lead me on”, “You’re faithful you will lead me,you will keep me”.

It’s just  awesome how God uses different ways to pass a message,comfort us and remind us of his promises in moment of distress and when we are in dire need of a reminder.He is truly a faithful and a loving father .
